1. Jamie XX – The Rest Is Noise

“The kick pattern in this song is mesmerizing. Probably our favourite Jamie XX song. The entire thing feels like it is continually growing while never drifting too far away from the original mood. It’s emotional, but feels like its anticipating something, rather than being reflective.”

2. Waves – Miguel (Tame Impala Remix)
“Although I love Miguel’s original version of this song, the touch of Tame Impala in this track is a match made in heaven. Those drums…”

3. Clean – Japanese House
“In love with this band. The vocal harmonizer used on the lead singer’s voice reminds me of Imogen Heap, but the rest of the production makes this song incredible unique.”

4. Pink + White – Frank Ocean
“One of my favourite songs on ‘Blonde’. Everything on this track is so smooth and could force anyone into a better mood.”

5. Awake – Tycho
“We’ve all been huge fans of Tycho for quite awhile and this song perfectly describes why. Like Jamie XX’s ‘The Rest Is Noise’, this song is constantly anticipating while always conveying the same feeling.”

6. Walrus – D.D. Dumbo
“We discovered D.D. Dumbo last year in Europe listening to the albums of the month at Rough Trade Record Store. This song was the first to come on and we were instantly sold.”

7. Even The Shadow – Porches
“That synth line that opens up this track.. oh baby! One of my fav tracks of one my fav albums from last year. Saw this band at SXSW last year and they did not disappoint.”

8. Monument – Mutemath (Disero Remix)
“To be honest, I’m not much of a fan of the original version of this song… but this remix is fire.”

9. Good As Hell – Lizzo
“We were able to witness Lizzo perform this year at SXSW and she was incredible. I would make the bold claim that she is even better live, but this song is always a great jam when it comes on.”

10. Needed Me – Rihanna
“Do I even need to say anything here?”
